Transparency and Collaboration in Action
When the City of Oroville Planning Commission hosts a public hearing, it’s not just a procedural step—it’s an invitation for the community to shape Oroville’s clean-energy future. These meetings ensure that renewable-energy projects like those developed by BREI and its partners are reviewed in an open, transparent way, giving every resident a voice.
The Project Under Review
The upcoming November 20, 2025 hearing focuses on a proposed 100-acre utility-scale solar energy facility, submitted by Tubit Enterprises Inc., applicant-of-record for BREI.If approved, this project will become part of a broader renewable-energy ecosystem for Oroville, integrating:
Solar power for daytime generation
Battery storage for evening reliability
Biomass energy to utilize forest residues and reduce wildfire risk
